Most tutoring is just expensive homework watching. Tutors sit next to a student and hand them the next step, creating dependency rather than results. When the diploma exam presents a unique problem, the student panics because they only know how to mimic steps. I use a first-principles approach: we break concepts down to their core mechanics so the student can solve any variation of a problem, not just the ones they’ve practiced.

I am an undergrad student at the University of Alberta, completing an honours degree in astrophysics and mathematics. My passion for the subjects makes explaining them come naturally.
